About Jesser
I am a US-based artist born in Matagalpa, Nicaragua that investigates the concept of happiness and how it influences our life- both physically and emotionally. The majority of my body of work represents my life experiences with happiness or what happiness is, utilizing oils and pastels to make a distinction between reality and imagination. My work also investigates the issue "what makes us happy as humans" and how the cycle of life and spiritual consciousness affect this issue. Everyone aspires to or is now experiencing happiness. Happiness has been an important element of our lives as humans since it can influence who we are and what we do. My work expresses happiness and my perspective on it. My art work embodies the stages of happiness through my childhood and memories that I have experienced in a world dominated by emotions. I want my work to make viewers experience their memories and emotions as they see my body of work. I also want my work to share the moments of my life where I have experienced the emotions of Happiness, Sadness, and Fear and how I have experienced these emotions throughout my life, and how they have contributed to the fulfillment of living in the present moment.
